Congratulations to The Fire Station Chocolate Box who won, and The Hollies who were also Highly Commended. On the Vale Royal nomination cards we have had some fantastic comments: Excellent food, really nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. I have been eating here for quite a while now and will continue to do so. A most satisfying experience in every sense of the word! There is always a smile as you walk through the door. Each member of staff is polite, friendly and organised. The orders are always taken accurately and timely. The food is of high quality and cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and store to a friend. Excellent service all round. I am always made to feel welcome & my custom is appreciated. I am very impressed by the great care taken to use fresh, quality and local ingredients. the service is quick & I have never been disappointed. I regularly come to enjoy the mix of traditional & slightly unusual dishes, often taking cakes home or buying gifts for friends & family. One of a kind! Living in the UK, originally from Holland, means I miss out on dropping in on family for a quick lunch or coffee. So I come here once or twice a week. The home-made cakes are unbeatable and it is worth a visit just to stock up on local cheeses. Best home cooked food in Cheshire, with locally promoted food supplies, served by friendly welcoming staff. I love the family atmosphere that is the Harvest Store. It's good to know that all the products I buy have been locally grown also that my indulgent "afternoon teas" have all been home baked to excellence. Always greeted with warmth and friendliness, and top nosh! Always clean, and friendly atmosphere, made to feel very welcome, The service was excellent, food excellent too. Well presented & despite being freshly done we didn't have to wait. The very best. I come here weekly - sometimes twice a week if I can! Why? Gorgeous, fresh, home made food prepared & served with a smile. The Harvest Store works hard to create a homely, family atmosphere - always recognising their regular customers. Their cakes are truly scrumptious, the yokes on their eggs are more golden than any seen anywhere, the bread is a culinary masterpiece on it's own. A haven of tranquility!
