Introduction
We
aim to provide an excellent service to all visitors and continually strive to
improve. We are a small family run business and have made changes to meet the
demands of our customers. There
is a Shop, a Tea Room and a B&B with 7 bedrooms with either en-suite or
private bathrooms and is on the first floor.
Pre-Arrival

Information can be obtained from our website and via the telephone. ·
Information can be provided in large print ·
There is no public transport. ·
We are easy to find on the main A530, 2 miles south of Middlewich. ·
Winsford
and Sandbach Stations are app. 4 miles away
Arrival and Car Parking
·
There is a car park right outside the main entrance with a flat, gravel
surface with a slight incline to the main doors. ·
The main doors are manual and 1.5m wide. Assistance can be given with the
doors. ·
When
the shop is closed B&B guests need to ring the front door bell of the house.
Main Entrance
·
Once through the main doors there is an entrance with tourism
information. ·
Outdoor products and pet food for sale. ·
Access
to the shop, and through the shop to the tea room.
Toilet Facilities
·
All toilets have slip resistant flooring ·
The width of the disabled door is 0.90m ·
The height of the disabled toilet is 0.48m (floor to seat) and have all
the appropriate aid rails ·
There
is a baby changing unit fixed to the wall in the disabled toilet
Shop
·
Staff are on duty to assist visitors with reaching products if required
and to speak about the products ·
Space between the displays are wide enough to allow free movement of
wheelchairs and prams ·
We have slip resistant flooring throughout the entrance and shop ·
There is access into the tea room via a ramp which is 0.8m wide ·
A wide
range of local food is available together with a selection of local crafts
Tea Room
·
The floor is carpeted and level ·
The tables seat 4 people and are 0.75m high ·
There is sufficient room between the tables to allow for movement ·
The menu is available in large print ·
The food on offer is prepared using ingredients from our shop ·
Our
staff are trained to be helpful at all times, and it is waitress service.
Bed & Breakfast
·
This is a
small friendly establishment and we are here to help in any way requested. ·
There are 7 bedrooms rooms with either an en-suite or private bathroom. ·
Rooms 1 – 3 are accessed from the car park up 15 carpeted stairs 7”
in height. There is a small lounge and kitchen. ·
Rooms 4 – 7 are accessed from outside tiled stairs 8” in height. Room
4 only has sky-lights. ·
Cooked
breakfasts are available in the Tea Room from 7am Tuesday to Sunday. Mondays and
from 6.30am
cereal and toast are available on request.
